I get this question every once in a while, “How do I host a RAD Sever instance on a new machine??”

Well… here’s how…

Step 1: Goto https://reg.codegear.com/srs6/activation.do

Step 2: Put in your RAD Server license key and your License Certificate Number. This information is probably come to you on your registered email address from ‘customer-service@embarcadero.com’. Also, remember that your RAD Server license key is different from your RAD Studio license key!

ps: you are eligible for RAD Server only if you are an Enterprise or Architect license holder.

Hit Next and you should be asked to login to your Embarcadero account.

When you are logged in, the site will give you an option to download the slip file:

You can use the slip file to then install your RAD Server instance. That’s all.
